Well, the T-Rex World Championship Races happened again just a few weeks ago and it was a hilarious event! There were around 200 T-Rexes that participated again this year.
To get the full effect of how funny this is to watch, you can check out the YouTube video of it and see the pictures.
But as you can imagine, it’s pretty comical seeing people run in the clumsy T-Rex costumes. It really did attract a crowd this past year, too. There were 5393 people there in Auburn, Washington, watching the event.
The participants run 100 yards in the T-Rex costumes. Oftentimes, there are mishaps and wardrobe malfunctions.
This year, Cheyn Tam-Switzer, who resides in Bellevue, got first in the Open Race and won by open lengths.
Paislie Thompson from Meridian, Idaho, won the Women’s Race. Thompson works for TriGuard Pest Control who started this race a few years ago.
There were even races for kids and senior Dinosaurs aged 50+. You cannot watch it without cracking a smile, at least. It’s a pretty funny event.
